Our guest room got a mini makeover this week and the transformation is making me so happy! I felt like I was constantly working to get this room looking how I wanted it, but the money in our “decor” budget was always spent in other places, so usually just the leftover decor would be stuck in there! We barely go in the guest room so it makes sense why this would be one of the last places to make pretty! The biggest problem I had was that I was not loving the bed frame that we had in there. (Ikea Noresund Bed) I got the bed when I was in 6th grade and maybe it’s just because it really was my kid bed, but it always looked “little kiddish” to me. I think it may have had something to do with the “swirls” that were on it. When I decided to spray paint it I knew the whole room would change! I dug in the garage for my hacksaw and sawed those “swirls” right off! It already looked like a new bed! I decided on an earthy green color and spray painted it. I was so pleased with the results!! Here’s a quick tour of our new and improved guest room! Who wants to come stay with us?
