Welcome to the Blooming Nest! Blooming Nest started in 2016 when I was a newly wed living in our first home. I had recently closed my Etsy shop where I sold handmade dresses. This was a fun hobby while my husband Brett was busy with his full time job and getting his masters degree! I was ready for a change so I started by sharing easy and affordable DIY’s because we were living on pennies ;)

Sharing our DIY projects, home decor, & real life and inspiration along the way, has quickly become my full time job! We have moved twice and added two children along the way!
